Harley-Davidson has issued a recall for several of its 2024 motorcycle models, including the FLHX, FLHXSE, FLTRX, FLTRXSE, and FLTRXSTSE. The issue? A potential electrical short that could lead to power failure while riding.

The voltage regulator output wire is positioned in a way that it may rub against the crankcase corner. Over time, this friction can wear down the wire, leading to exposure and, in some cases, a short circuit.

If the wire shorts out, it could cause:
